If you have a scanned copy or a digital image but its a bit dim and out-of-focus, the Photoshop Sharpen filter just can do the trick for you. Brightness, contrast and crispness can be brought into an image as per your requirements using the tool.
The Sharpen Tool can be found on the Tools window. However, sometimes it may be hidden behind the Blur or Smudge Tool. The Tool is equipped with three options brush selection, strength and blending mode. The blending mode again has a few more options Normal, Darken, Lighten, Hue, Color, Saturation, and Luminosity.
Using the Sharpen Tool is a real breeze. You just need to open your digital photo in Photoshop. Then you have to select Filter and then Sharpen in the menu at the top. You will find four more options in the drop-down "Sharpen," "Sharpen Edges," "Sharpen More" and "Unsharp Mask.
Just by clicking on Sharpen, you can automatically sharpen your image by small increments. By doing it several times, you can make the image clearer. By using the four mentioned options you can easily work on selected areas of an image. Therefore, the tool is no less than a boon for an adult design professional.
