Single Filipina Women: How To Find Quality Dating Sites? - Relationships - Dating

There are hundreds of Philippine dating sites that host thousands of eligible single Filipina women not only from the Philippines but also from around the world. Whilst it may be true that the beauty of a Filipino woman is boundless, as a man who may be in search of a partner in life it is beyond the physical aspects. You would want someone who will be true and faithful to your relationship when the time comes. There may also be other characteristics in a woman that you are searching for but may be unsure if you could even determine this with an online relationship.

It is an undeniable fact that the physical features matters when searching for single Filipina women. More so because the profile photos are the first thing that you browse through before you even try and engage with them online. You might want to give it a swing at it by trying out free dating sites first to get the hang of it. Just casually try to engage with a few select women that you think might fit your profile. You can also opt to try the free trial periods of paid dating sites.

Choose wisely afterwards on which sites to continue on and stick with it. Paid dating sites have better features and much clearer profile photos. This way you can get to do more and enjoy more crisp and clear photos of Filipinas. The totally free unlimited access sites mostly have no restrictions on the quality of profile photos this seems rather discouraging because you come across pictures that seem to have been taken underwater or lack lighting. You can never determine if the person on the other end is really a woman or not. Some paid sites have stricter implementation of profile photos. They do not allow photos that have seem to have been edited to make themselves look more attractive to have more traffic.

Start with a list of 10 and then slowly narrow down the sites to the one that you think fits your preferences. You can also read reviews on dating sites and determine which one are the best. The top sites mostly have advanced search features, user friendly interface, and more women to choose from. There are also some sites that categorize the profile of its members based on a five-star rating. The higher the star rating the better it is for you as a searcher. The owners of some of these sites go through the extent of doing background checks in case some fraudulent women want to register.

As far as I am concerned the best and easiest way to engage with Filipino women is through online dating sites. Learn how to choose the best and learn more about those women that just engage with you just for your money. Use common sense and personal judgment. Never try sending money to them as much as possible. If you want to go a step higher on your online relationship you might want to visit them first wherever they are. This is the only fool-proof way to determine whether or not she is being honest with you. Take it as an adventure and you also get to visit places as well. Only this time you get to go out with single Filipina women that you met online.

Useful Ipad Accessories - Technology

With so many Ipad Accessories flooding the market, it gets confusing which ones are worthy to buy. You must use a great deal of common sense when choosing an accessory that is both practical and functional. Since these accessories are only compatible for use with an IPad, these come with a no nonsense price tag. Check your wallet and yourself if you really need that attractive looking accessory before dipping deep into your pocket for your hard earned cash to pay for it. Some accessories are truly useful as long as you know what they really are intended for. Others are best left on the store shelf as a relic you are wishing never existed.

One of the accessories you will find important, (aside of course from IPad cases) is the iPad Dock. The iPad was designed to be a handheld tablet computer that offers you the ease of portability and mobility. But holding the iPad in your hands for too long can take its toll. Leaving it flat on the table sometimes gives you a neck strain especially when you are reading an eBook that contains a hundred pages. The iPad Dock functions as a tabletop holder for your tablet and as a hub for charging and connecting other gadgets as well. You can attach your speakers to it using an audio cable. You can also use this to work with other Apple iPad accessories like the Camera connection kit and the Apple Digital AV adapter.

With the lack of a USB port it seems impossible to transport your pictures and videos from a remote source into your iPad tablet. That issue is solved with the Camera connection kit and the Apple Digital AV adapter-another two of the iPad accessories you should not be without.

The Ipad Camera connection kit is a simple device composed of a Camera connector and an SD card reader. You can shoot pictures with any type of digital camera. You can hook up the camera to your Ipad using the connector and transport your pictures into your memory file. Or you can take the SD card of your camera and transfer the pictures using the SD card reader. The Ipad recognizes standard photo formats like JPEG, RAW, MPEG4, as well as SD and HD video formats.

If you want to view your videos on a bigger screen you can make it work with the use of the Apple Digital AV adapter. Just attach one end of the adapter to the IPad and the other to a TV or video screen or any HDMI compatible video display. The screen will mirror what you see on your IPad. This is ideal for use when you have a business presentation or when you want the whole family to watch the latest video you downloaded from the iTunes store.

Commercial Advertising Photography - Making The Camera Lie In Order To Tell The Truth - Hobbies - Photography

Commercial advertising photography is an essential ingredient in a marketing campaign, especially where food, cooking and dining is concerned. Restaurants and hotels in particular are always very keen to make sure that their food looks as appealing in the commercial photographs as it does when served up on a plate. You may well be forgiven for assuming that as long as the food is cooked well and presented as professionally as one might expect in a top class hotel that taking a photograph of it was the easy bit.

To some extent, taking a photograph of food is easy, but of course the difficult part is to make sure that the food still looks as good on film as it does on the plate. Unfortunately as many amateur photographers have found to their cost, this isn't necessarily the case. In fact any restaurant or hotel which has taken their own in house advertising photographs in order to save money will be sorely disappointed with the quality. It seems quite unfair that something so delicious should be so difficult to photograph.

For example, let's take a nice roast Sunday lunch, steaming hot, with gravy poured over the wonderful plate of food. A few photographs and the job is done, or so you might think. The problem is that when you look at the photographs several things seem to be missing. First of all, the steam has gone. When the meal was presented to you it was steaming hot, literally, but the problem with steam is that it doesn't actually last very long, and often it will disappear in seconds once the plate is served up. So how do professional commercial product photographers manage to get such fantastic pictures of food which looks so hot?

One of the inside trade secrets is actually cotton wool balls. By soaking these in water and then popping them in the microwave it is possible to place these surreptitiously behind items on the plate, creating wonderful plumes of steam which last for ages and produce steam dense enough to come out in the photograph. So next time you see a professional photograph of a steaming plate of food, you'll be less taken with the idea of tucking in to a plate of cotton wool.

The gravy is another problem though, because on the plate it looks wonderful, but in photographs it looks fairly bland - a bit like muddy water perhaps. How do professional commercial photographers achieve the glossy, appetising look? The answer is that they don't use gravy. The gravy in commercial advertising photography images is nothing more than ordinary grade motor oil. So with motor oil poured lovingly over a plate of cotton wool buds it's rapidly becoming clear that a commercial product photographer is not actually taking a photograph of a plate of food in order to produce a photograph of a plate of food.

Clearly this is where the amateurs are going wrong, and why those hotels and restaurants who do employ the services of professional photographer manage to have advertising images which look so appetising and appealing that people's mouths are drooling even before they've sat down. From deodorant aerosols used to add a frosty look to grapes, to hairspray which can make cake look moist, and from toothpicks holding items of food in just the right position to mashed potato squirted under the skin of poultry to make it look extra plump and tender, commercial product photography is not about taking quality photographs of products, but creating images which represent or suggest the product itself, which often means making the camera lie, just to recreate what would otherwise be seen for real. Does the camera lie? Yes, but only to ensure a more accurate image.

Commercial Advertising Photography - The Art Of Fooling The Eye - Hobbies - Photography

The first thing you notice about commercial advertising photography is the product, and how fantastic it looks. Successful and effective commercial advertising photographers will be able to create an image which stands out for all the right reasons, grabs the attention of the target audience and communicates the right message almost instantly.

But whilst it's easy to admire the look of the product and the skill of the photographer, in most cases commercial advertising photography is not about what you see, but about what you don't see. You might think that when you look at an advertising image what you're seeing is what the photographer saw, but that is invariably not the case.

Of course, we all know that there are tricks of the trade and many people will immediately assume that any image will have been doctored using a graphics tool such as Adobe's Photoshop, and whilst this may be the case, there's far more going on than meets the eye. One of the first things to appreciate in commercial advertising is that what you see is almost certainly not quite what you would see if you were looking at the product yourself in a shop.

Lighting, the environment and many little known tricks of the trade all come into play, helping to create an illusion which doesn't just look real, it actually looks more real in some cases than it would in real life. For example, if you were looking at a television in a shop then you'd probably either see a whole lot of distracting reflections in the screen, or the television would be on and you'd be watching a picture. In a product image though you're either going to see a screen that doesn't have any distracting reflections in it, or it will look as though it's switched on and displaying a picture.

The trouble is that if you take a photograph of a television, either switched on or off, neither result will look very realistic. So how do product photographers make their images appear to be so realistic, whilst still being entirely different to how a normal photograph of a television would look?

In order to take a photograph of a television switched off commercial advertising photographers will either have a studio which includes a 360 degree backcloth to remove any potentially distracting reflections, or they will edit the image afterwards, replacing the screen with a shaded black rectangle which looks realistic, yet which doesn't even exist as part of the screen in real life. But how about taking a photograph of a television that's switched on?

If you've ever tried this you'll know that the result will look terrible- very fuzzy and half missing. This is because the camera lens sees what your eyes and brain can't see - the fact that the image on the screen is only an illusion created by rapidly flickering lights. So professional photographers will usually take a screen grab from a computer and then superimpose that onto the photograph of the screen to improve the quality. The final image will look just as you expect it to, even though you know that that's not how it would really look if you took a photograph of it.

Effective commercial advertising photography allows us to be fooled, even when we know that what we are looking at can't be real, despite looking very real. The art of illusion and of fooling the eye is a subtle one, because consumers will not be interested in a picture which has been obviously doctored, yet will be enticed by an image which they know can't be completely real. If you're not sure how to achieve the right balance then it's far safer to leave it in the hands of the experts.

Should You Take Advantage Of Free Ipod Downloads? - Internet - Free

Technology has come up with gadgets to entertain millions of persons. Ipods, are the latest technologies that we have right now that stores videos, music games and other stuff. This is the latest gadget that has come out within the market.Whatever the make of your Ipods, it is possible to select the software that can install compatability for downloading anything. You possibly can download Ipod motion pictures, Ipod music, videos for Ipod or games.

Much more than 100 websites offer free downloads for Ipod. Converters for DVDs also are within the market in order to make it less difficult for DVDs to be downloaded on to your Ipods. Yes, it is possible to even transfer regular DVds to your Ipod. Downloading is so easy it takes only minutes- especially with songs. Of course it takes a while to download motion pictures.

For motion pictures, these are the uncomplicated steps that are needed to download:

1. iPods are capable with playing motion pictures but you have to be sure that the motion pictures are compatible with the video formats that Ipods support. Ipods can generally play a wide range of formats, depending on your model. On the other hand, if you ever discover that your ipod can not play a certain video it is possible to often download a converter that will convert any format in to the format that you require.

2. The next step demands a pc. You should install Apple's managing software. This software is known as Itunes and it is responsible for managing any device from Apple- whether it be an iPad, iPod, or iPhone.

You will find tons of applications out there that can serve as an alternative to iTunes if you ever don't like that iTunes format of syncing and managing music.

One tip: On the net you can find numerous websites offering free Ipod downloads. Most of these free Ipod downloads are infected with viruses or adware. So I recommend: stay away from free ipod websites.

10 reasons why you should buy the iPad - Computers

In recent years, Apple has stunned users and flustered the technology world with one sensational masterpiece after another. First it was the iPod, then the iPhone, and then the iPod Touch. Will Apple once again captivate the attention of the American public with its newest device? The revolutionary 1/2 inch thick iPad with its 10-inch crystal-clear display has the potential to transform technology and enhance the entertainment world. Here are the top 10 questions about Apple's latest gizmo:*1- What is the iPad?The iPad is basically an big iPhone with new and improved features. The main upgrade on the iPad is its terrific 9.7 inch high resolution screen. Movies, TV shows, pictures and video podcasts all look great on the terrific HD display. Small, pocket-size iPod displays are convenient, but watching movies on a tiny screen can be extremely frustrating.*2- Why do I want an iPad?Apple's iPad home page gives the #1 reason, "All of the built in apps on the iPad were designed from the ground up to take advantage of the large Multi-Touch screen and advanced capabilities of iPad. And they work in any orientation. So you can do things with these apps that you can't do on any other device."Also, if you're used to viewing movies, TV shows and photos on an iPod, iPod Touch or iPhone, the crystal-clear iPad screen will knock your socks off. It's a convenient, spotless, high-definition display; a major upgrade over any iPod. Other tablets on the market have great features too, but the top-notch apps built for the iPad set this device apart. It can also run most of the 150,000+ apps that work on the iPhone, giving users additional options.*3- What is the iPad keyboard like?If you like the sensitive touch screen of the Apple iPod Touch, you'll be well prepared for the iPad. There are two main distinctions between the iPad and the iPod Touch. First, the iPad's 10 inch screen is substantially bigger than its miniature counterpart. Second, there is no up or d own, no right or wrong way to hold it. Whichever way you hold the device, the screen flips to fit your orientation.*4- Is the iPad a phone?Skype, Vonage and other websites provide a phone service over the internet on the iPad 3G version. However, the iPad was not designed to be used as a phone. That's one big disadvantage to this sensational device.*5- What are the downsides of the iPad?It may be the hot device on the tech market right now, but critics argue that it's completely unnecessary for most potential users. A laptop computer is far more complete, providing the same services- internet, music, mail, photos, movies, and ebooks- that the iPad has. Most computers also include a camera, Windows software capabilities, and other common services. iPad lacks these important features.*6- How much does it cost? When it's released on April 3, the Wi-Fi only iPad will start at $499 for a 16GB device. If you want the 3G feature too, 16GB will cost $629. Double the storage size for $100 extra.*7- Should I buy one right now?If you're sold out on the iPad, purchasing one now is not the best choice. If at all possible, wait at least a year. Apple improves their products, fixes tech wrinkles, and lowers the price with time. Wait a year and you'll receive a better product for less money.*8- Is the iPad a better buy than the Amazon Kindle?Definitely. The Kindle is a great tablet, but Apple products are cooler, more efficient, last longer, and have more features. However, if you're totally into ebooks, the Kindle is for you. It's a little cheaper, and designed specifically for purchasing and reading books right from the Kindle. Apple's iPad doesn't have the same focus on ebooks.*9- Can I use YouTube on the iPad?Another great upside to the iPad is great access to YouTube with the top-notch app. It's easy to find videos and fun to watch them on the iPad's crystal-clear screen. Download the app in the App Store.*10- Will it replace my laptop? The iPad is a fun g izmo with sensational features, but it doesn't compare with any computer. A laptop is far more complete, providing the same services- internet, music, mail, photos, movies, and ebooks- that the iPad has. In addition, most computers include a camera, Windows software capabilities, and other common services. Don't even think about replacing your laptop with iPad.The iPad is a hot device on the tech market right now, and it gives users some cool features. However, it's not vital to your collection of gadgets. But if you do have the money and desire, you can enjoy the convenience of HD TV, portable movies and entertainment on the large screen of the iPad when it hits shelves on April 3, 2010.Jordan Green is one of the writer on Helium. The article shares her opinion and thoughts about the iPad. If you want to purchase iPad screen protector or other iPad accessories, you can click on the links.

Architecture,Art,Furniture - Photographs - Home

Over the past couple of years the popularity of art photography has risen with some photographs selling from 700+.

Gone are the usual art photographs of tower blocks and "everyday people" not looking their best or as Pulp lyrics go "because you think poor is cool" .These have been replaced by beautiful tonal images which include a subject with splash of one contrasting colour. These images are incredibly reminiscent of the fabulous fashion photographs seen in Vogue Magazines in the late 1970's early 1980's. Not only because of the attention to detail in the colours but the subject matter and natural scenery surrounding the whole shot. Even the black and white images have reverted to beautiful lines and contrasts. The use of photoshop is very most likely to still be used ( there are still some photographers who relish working in a darkroom rather than on a computer and their photographs cost much more), though whereas you can distinctly spot a shoot/shop/sell photograph these new photographs have had thoughts, planning and processes behind the shot. After many years of seeing decay, unt idiness or half an image in photography regurgitated year after year it is wonderful to see the new photography movement merge and grow. Aestheticism in photography is slowly returning.

So if you can't afford a few hundred pounds on an art photograph can you still use photographic images in the home? Of course you can, but like paintings your home can look fabulous or tasteless. Here are just a few pointers.Photographic canvas prints where a photographic image has been printed onto a canvas are a great alternative to paintings, if you are between the age of 12-22. A bit more upmarket than a poster but perfectly fine as a starter for developing taste if still living at home with parents.

The most understated home accessory are the family photographs. I remember going to visit the grandmother of a friend, I was drawn to the mantelpiece which was covered in fabulous black & white photographs of members of the family all in beautiful frames, a mixture of small and medium sizes.Apart from the way they were presented ( the colour, frames etc..) it was actually the way the shots were taken. Thought had gone into where to stand, what was around in the back/foreground, the "natural" ( not posed) shots projected a genuine warmth of that moment coming from the person in a photograph taken 70 years ago.

The digital age has changed certain aspects for the better but also losing the connectedness to situations .The digital camera is a very convenient modern day tool. How else would people have made money on ebay, or post images of a baby which was born 15 minutes ago on Facebook or Twitter. But everything is double sided and are the images that people shoot now good enough for the mantelpiece?

One of the things we miss out on is the moment of finding the old suitcase or box filled with old photographs that seem to appear every couple of years. Sitting on the floor and going through every photograph and album. The present stops for a couple of hours and getting lost in memories from the past (good, bad, funny, sad) take over until the phone rings or you realize that you could do with a cup of tea ( or tissues as you have come across the 120 photos of your first pet). Would you get the same effect from the files of images on the computer? Sadly no, and even more sadder is that unless this changes, generations will not experience this genuine reminiscent behaviour.

Not only has the equipment changed but most photographs are absolutely terrible. With all the power of editing and deleting at your fingertips why do some people not use these features. Photographs that really should not be seen pop up on Facebook( I'm using Facebook as an example as many people use this to communicate rather than picking the best photos and posting them by mail ). An example of this is when my sister wanted to see what my old school friend looked like now. When I showed her a picture she said "oh wow, isn't that lovely, volunteering her time, good for her!" Confused I asked her what she meant by this comment. She replied " she's helping in some kind of institution or home, isn't she? Is it run by a charity?" I replied "er no, that's her boyfriend and those are his parents". For next few minutes all that was said was "Nooooooooo! Noooooooooooo!"

The lesson here is be careful what your subjects are doing and the setting of the photograph. White and cream coloured walls with minimal furniture and bad prints or even worse portraits on the walls along with a tub of Flora on the dining table does give an impression of some sort of institutional residence.

To have a great photograph worthy of putting on display you have to go back to "old school" thinking and practices. A "that'll do" attitude shows through in the finished product. There seems to be a theme of narcissism rather than natural charisma in photographs nowadays. Genuine warmth and personality has been replaced by what is known as "one look" ( popular phase quoted from the film Zoolander). Coincidentally my mothers early photographs were of her doing "one look" but as she pointed out " you would have that face too if you had to stand or sit still for 2 hours waiting for the photographer to take the picture. There was no messing about or playing incase a hair was out of place or our clothes became dirty or creased". Ah the days before looking untidy was considered a badge of honour of how hard your life is . For full frontal photographs remember to take the slippers off before the snap button is pressed ( unless the person taking the photograph really hates you and takes the shot anyway).

So the subject of the photograph is presentable ( or in another word, clean and the clothes fit correctly). The other point to take in is the back/foreground and composition of the shot. Photographs for display must be properly composed. By composed they don't have to be as rigid as a passport photograph but there is a difference between a shot of a brother and sister giving eachother a hug laughing and a shot where the only thing going through the mind is that in 10 years they'll have an ASBO each or worse.

The other in vogue photographs or images to put on display are photographic prints. For example vintage postcards or vintage photographs of people and places. These have replaced the quite common Far East travel/holiday photographs on walls. It seems as the world gets smaller and travel is more popular there has been a leaning towards purchasing images whether vintage postcards or vintage photographs of people from the past ( not related ) for example a soldier from China in 1906 or a group of actors from a small village in Austria in 1918. Very random, very unique and very interesting. There may not be a bloodline connection as you would have if it was a picture of your great grandmother on her wedding day but they are part of history. To take a good photograph to put on display you have to go back to the past and retrain.

Glamour Photos, Exotic Photography, Erotic Photography, Artistic Photos - Art - Visual Art

There is Glamour Photography and Intimate Glamour Photography. There is Exotic Photography, Celebrity Photography, and Erotic Photography. There is Fashion and Commercial Photography, Model Photography and even Artistic Photography. These are all terms with somewhat distinct meanings but which point at the incredible interest in and consumption of the Female Body in these various forms of its portrayal. When you add the words exotic and erotic to photography, it leans toward the sexual. Then there are also art photos, Artistic Female Photos, perhaps interpretive, sometimes sexual but sometimes focusing on the models soul rather than her body. There are also Pin-up Models and of course, Playboy Models.

I want to try to point out specific differences in photography relating to the correct use of words such as 'exotic,' 'glamour,' 'erotic' and 'sensual' here, in particular. The word erotic, for instance, has come into widespread misuse, regarding both erotic photography and even erotic stories. This is partially because of the overuse it has been given on the Internet especially by adult sites. Adult venues have "adopted" the term erotic and used it enough to describe their wares that it has taken on a broader meaning than had ever been ascribed to it in the past. Many adult sites may indeed contain erotic photography but in its true meaning erotic photography does not even necessarily include nude photography. Correctly used, in fact, erotic photography perhaps arouses sexuality but does not necessarily display it.

Naturally, most people believe what they see rather than challenging the definition of a word which may be vague in their understanding anyhow. So when they repeatedly see the words erotic photography attached to graphic sexual content they associate the two things as one in their mind. Erotic Photography could be more correctly describes as "Sensual," which has more to do with the feelings evoked by a photo rather than the actions depicted in it.

The term "exotic Photography" really has to do with a sense of distance or the unusual. A photo might more logically be called exotic due to the type of unique clothing featured in the photo rather than the models lack of clothing. The model herself may have an exotic look or appearance. Glamour Photography requires a sense of glamour, and a sense of the world as a venue for glamour. Glamour photography may or may not be erotic, exotic or sensual. Glamour photography is about the photographer allowing the model to reach inside herself for the exact expression necessary for the particular feeling which is to be conveyed in the photo.

To summarize, in general, words have a specific meaning. In practice, though, meanings change. Erotic Photography, even erotic stories are meanings in flux. Exotic photography is more distinct and leans toward the unusual. Glamour photography is bringing a sense of the glamorous to the art of photography. It usually results from the unique collaboration of a Glamour photographer with a model able to react from inside herself to convey an idea or feeling within a photograph. Sensual photography is what should be described in the term erotic photography but for the common misuse of the term currently. Erotic photography and erotic stories, correctly used, do not imply prurient sexual activity.

Excellence in Erotic Art Photography - Art - Humanities

When most hear the words "Erotic Photography" photos of bare women with no morals taking advantage of themselves for money is what comes to mind. Erotic photos are very much more than this. At its heart, erotic photographs is a way to capture the essence of the body, the external beauty, and subtleties that define sensuality and eroticism.

The same has also been experienced in Eastern cultures. In Japan, the Shunga appeared from early in the thirteenth century up to late in the nineteenth century. All through, it continued to gain popularity until the invention of photography. In China, it was during the latter years of Ming dynasty that erotic art reached its climax. The Kama Sutra of India continues to enjoy popularity till today.

Today, erotic artists are still present in our societies although their work is not accepted like that of other genres of art. However, over the last few years, there has been a big growth and development in this art. Several new approaches to it have been developed such as Realism and Impressionism. What remains to be seen is how long erotic art continues to live with us.

What is erotic art? -

The term "erotic photography" conjures up all sorts of graphics and thoughts for most people, from true art to the more edgy stuff we'll refer to as pornography. Erotic photography is very much more than this. At its heart, erotic photography is a way to record the substance of the body, the external splendor, and subtleties that define sensuality and eroticism.

Erotic photos is characterized as taking pictures of the bare body in a fashion which is artistic and creative. Whereas, we generally think of pornography as the edgy, degrading, and often trashy images of women, with low ethical standards behind it. Many photographers are spend many years mastering the art of erotic photography. It's also not uncommon for an erotic photographer to take award-winning shots of their subjects, and obtain much significant praise for their work. Even the erotic photography models undergo long sessions of training to master their poses and to create the subtle nuances that define their area of work.

Long before magazines like Playboy were ever printed erotic art and nude photography were popular. History is filled with examples of erotic art and nude portraits. Because of the controversy, in the 1900's , those who were skilled in the art of erotic photography were chastised and therefore would take the photos anonymously. Today, the Internet has made it increasingly difficult to access the wealth of erotic photography since it is cluttered with pornographic images, however, there are some online resources that have creative and artist images that are excellent examples of professional erotic photography. If you search hard enough you will be able to find some very talented photographers and models who exemplify the very nature of erotic photography. These examples bring with them an artistic slant that many people can appreciate.

Erotic depictions have been present in almost every society in this world. The Paleolithic carvings and cave paintings are an example of very old, but surviving erotic depictions. Go to Pompeii and you will find Greek paintings covering all the ruined walls of Roman buildings. All through, it continued to gain popularity until the invention of photography. In China, it was during the latter years of Ming dynasty that erotic art reached its climax. Many people know about the Kama Sutra of India, which remains a popular subject across many cultures.

Erotic artists still exist in our society, but their work has lost some of the appreciation it used to carry.Mostly this is because of the new forms of pornography, which seem to shed a negative light on their fringe associations, such as erotic photography. That said, during the last decade we've seen a new growth in erotic photography and artwork. Several new approaches to it have been developed such as Realism and Impressionism. What remains to be seen is how long erotic art continues to live with us.

Copyright: Understanding The Basics Of Subsistence - Law - Copyright Law

Sources of copyright Legislation

The first step is to understand where the legal regulation on copyright is derived from and it is the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 (CDPA). It is the CDPA that is the main regulation for both copyright and also unregistered design rights.

The Objective behind the CDPA

This is to provide the owner of the copyright in a work the right to stop others from copying their work.

Different types of Work Guarded

An important point to notice is that only the subsequent categories are protected by copyright:

original literary works;

original dramatic works;

original musical works;

original artistic works;

films/sound recordings/broadcasts; and

typographical arrangements of published editions.

This is a closed list hence any works that are not included in any one of the categories will not be protected by copyright. For this reason it is very important to decide what (if any), category a given work falls within as the first task of addressing any issue on copy right.

When assessing any copyright matter it is necessary to consider that the work you are involved in must match certain criteria so as to enjoy copyright protection.

The criterion varies according to the category:

Some but not all works need to be fixed

In most cases the works have to be original.

It must qualify for protection under UK law.

Once it is established that a work is in line with the above mentioned criterion, the next step is always to rule out the chance of copyright expiration and then the final step along the way of establishing the subsistence of copyright, is to consider length of time.

Subsistence: Works and the Criteria for Protection

Work

The first thing to do when faced with a copyright matter would be to identify the "work" because without knowing what the work is you cant really assess the copyright. It is usual for a single work to consist of several different works.

Section.1(1) CDPAstipulates the works protected plus the sections following, case law and section 1(1). (up to s.8.) offers a bit of guidance on works mentioned in section 1(1).

The s. 3 definition includes computer software and databases. Examples of works which were held to be literary works are exam paperwork, application forms, calendars, catalogues and lists of football fixtures.

Database is defined within s. 3A: Note how wide the meaning is. It is the "selection or arrangement of the contents" of a database which counts as being a literary work, not its content, unless an item of content happens to qualify as a work in its own right. If the content does not comprise works, it may be protected by database right instead.

Dramatic works: s.1(1a) and section 3:

The dramatic works definition present in section 3(1): is more of a clarification that dance and mime fall into this category rather than a proper definition of dramatic works. However, using case law as a guide it can be deduced that dramatic works can be a "work of action, with or without words or music" which has to be performed for its total realisation, ergo it is capable of being performed when in front of an audience.

To illustrate this point remember that, the script for a play on its own can be explained as a literary work, however the production of that same play performed on stage will be a dramatic work.

Musical works: s. 1 (1)(a)and s. 3

An example of a musical work is the tune for a song (on the other hand,

note the lyrics are not inclusive, as these are a different literary work).

Artistic works: s. 1(1)(a) and section 4

The scope of artistic work in section s. 4(1) is fixed to the following 3 categories:

a) Section 4(1)(a): graphic works, photographs, sculptures and collages

Regardless of artistic deserve: graphic works, photographs, sculptures and collages all qualify as works. For instance diagrams, maps, charts and plans for example are graphic works, even if they have little if any artistic value and weren't intended to be artistic as at when created.

Photograph is defined by the CDPA to take into account new technologies as at when they develop.

There is not a definition for sculpture as such however there's a useful guide defining sculptures as a 3d work made by an artists hand

There cannot be any definition found for a collage however, in accordance with case law for a collage to exist it is required that all various elements be stuck with each other.

b) Section 4(1)(b): works of architecture (which include models)

Fixed structures, parts of fixed structures the models made for buildings prior to them been built are included in this category.

Yet architectural drawings are on their own protected as artistic works so a building produced by an architect, such as the Beetham Tower Manchester has multiple safeguards.

c) Section 4(1)(c): works of artistic craftsmanship

This category contains items including furniture, fine jewellery, ceramics and appliqud quilts.

It has been held that this type of work must:

have some visual appeal (be artistic); and

be made by way of a craftsperson(someone who exercises skill for making it and takes pride in his workmanship).

Sound recordings, films and broadcasts: ss. 5A, 5B and 6

These are occasionally referred to as secondary works as there will be at least one main literary, dramatic or musical work. For example ,a physical object will frequently contain multiple works, e. g. a CD (sound recording) of a symphony (musical work).

The typographical arrangement of published editions: s. 1(1)(c) and s. 8

This can be defined as the layout and typesetting of a book, newspaper, journal etc. which qualifies as a published edition of (a brand new edition of a book isn't created by just just reprinting that same book. It is important to note that the typographical arrangement is a work in its own right, distinguished from the underlying literary work.

This can be explained by comparing two different editions of the same classic novel close examination will identify many differences in details like the physical appearance of the text on the page page size, margins, paragraph spacing, typeface, type size, placement of page numbers, headers etc.

The Importance Of High Resolution In Scientific Photography - Art

Pictures provide valuable documentation in scientific study. However, the amount, quality and accuracy of the data contained in an image varies based on the resolution of the camera used. High resolution pictures provide the best documentation in scientific photography.

What Is Resolution?

A digital image is made up of thousands or millions of individual dots of color, called pixels. A photograph with a resolution of 1280 x 800 is made up of 800 rows of 1280 pixels or just over a megapixel (a million pixels). Resolution is a measure of how many pixels an image contains. All else being equal, an image with a higher resolution, that is an image with more pixels, contains more information than an image with a lower resolution.

In scientific photography, more resolution is better. A higher resolution image show a subject in more detail and can reveal the subtle, fine features that a lower resolution picture wouldn't show. This is why, as a rule, scientific photography is best handled by cameras with high megapixel ratings.

Zooming Into The Image

You might be asking yourself if there is a reasonable limit to useful resolution. After all, the human eye has a finite limit to the detail it can perceive, so does it help to take pictures with features so fine they can't be seen with the naked eye? In a word, yes.

High resolution scientific photography allows a viewer to zoom into an image as though the subject were being put under a microscope. Try this on a typical consumer camera and the image quickly becomes blocky, but on a hyper-resolution image in the 24- to 72-megapixel range, viewers can blow up the image and still get a tremendously precise and accurate picture. It allows very careful examination of a specimen that may itself be long gone.

What About Close Ups?

In previous generations of photographic technology, researchers used close up photography to document the fine details of a subject. By taking many pictures at varying scales, they could accurately record a specimen. Does high resolution scientific photography eliminate the need for close ups? For that matter, could a researcher use a cheaper, lower resolution camera and use close up images to compensate for the lack of scalability of the images produced?

Close up photography and high resolution photography complement each other. Zoomed in images are still valuable, and when done in high resolution they can be zoomed in even more when viewed later. However what if a photographer neglects to do a close up of a particular part of the specimen? Researchers may not realize a particular detail is important at the time, and the specimen may be disposed of. With a high resolution photograph, they can still zoom in on neglected areas and examine them closely.

High resolution photography requires professional grade equipment, which is why many researchers choose to use commercial photographers to document their work.

Based on the Internet at present the B2B exchange model development speed is very rapid, according to the latest statistics, in the early of B2B trading on the Internet has far more than the B2C turnover. In 2006, the B2B e-commerce market scale has reached 5.8 trillion us dollars, 2010 global B2B e-commerce market scale up to us $26 trillion, and a few years the expected future global B2B annual growth rate will remain at 45%. In such a growth situation, all kinds of B2B web sites have sprung up, not only have ChuiZhiXing industry, and the establishment of a comprehensive site platform. Some have more strength of the leading enterprises set up their distribution site, and the new mode has proven to be a way to success.

And have their own b2b mall how should after optimization becomes the multitudinous enterprise concern. But how many of the website of seo in focusing on the picture? Many web sites focus on the links and words, and devotion to the number of links to the search engine has not changed. Although at present the search engine technology or can't judge for the picture content and links. But pictures to the user speaking, is very intuitive and reading, that how to solve this problem? Now the search engines can distinguish pictures of Alt attribute, this means that the website must match with text and add links. This not only conforms to the search engine optimization and meets the user experience. Po business () years of grinds only results (the best mall system) bring everyone. Hope that with all the enterprise and businessman create electrical contractor B2B latest chapter.

In addition to Alt attribute the use is also manifest in site speed, picture frame, advertising, and content pictures, GIF, and Flash on site speed has important influence, which affect the search engine optimization. Below are explained:

1 picture frame of search engine optimization influence

B2B trade portal frame should as far as possible concise, to put more space for content, advertising, especially is project page and enterprise independent home page. Framework will try to use small pictures, small ICONS, including through 1 pixel width of the picture as the background cycle. As far as possible to ensure the picture frame are less than 5 K, some even are dozens of bytes, standard is to put large area USES pictures by a little place pictures up, so that it can improve the download speed. If the web designer put a picture frame of the web page to get dozens of K, use B2B trade portal, the designer must be not qualified, only the enterprise website just likely to do so. The designer to ensure a page frame pictures added up to no more than 100 K, or less than 50 K, this aspect netease, sina gateway website do better. At the same time column name, to add links section of the name, module name, had better not use pictures to do, or use less as far as possible, u se direct text add link so that not only can fully guarantee the page download speed from pictures are influence, but also can ensure that search the spider can grab. Simple and beautiful, generous is we should pursue.

2 advertising and content to picture the influence of search engine optimization

General B2B trade portal has many pictures, have a plenty of publicity website a new function, have a plenty of customer image ads, still have a plenty of pictures to make the content, or content need pictures shows, and so on. Purpose is to let the website looks with pictures, attract users eye, the user focus on advertising, achieve promotion effect, or the user attention important content, essence of content purpose. The production of advertising, use as far as possible JPG pictures, in dealing with, using 60%-70% of the quality can. As far as possible each AD pictures are less than 100 K, content as possible picture is less than 200 K, if a page has many pictures, must use the page, each image page can, ensure smooth up page views, let the spider smooth access, beneficial to the search engine optimization.

3 GIF and Flash animation to the search engine optimization influence

This is simple, just can't do the Flash is too big, the general Flash animation is smaller, GIF animation is greater, for complex animation, cannot use the GIF to production, want to use Flash. Meanwhile, a page, can not have too much Flash ads, and I have seen a industry portal, because advertising sales to give priority to, this a lot of Flash, lead to open since the computer's memory and CPU takes up high, for some computer configuration of a little almost user, visit would be very slow, and even crash. Then I give them advice after, they on the homepage of most advertising changed to GIF animation, only some complex with Flash, the situation will improve dramatically. I suggest whether Flash animation or Gif animation, its size not more than 100 K, had better be in 50 K less than.

The graphics and animation effects of the site's exact nots allow to ignore, using the appropriate the graphics and animation can let your mall of his competitors from numerous emerge as one of the top in the industry. Must firmly remember a little "search engine always put the user experience in the first place", as long as we do a user experience, as easily as to get considerable flow easily order he le? The future electronic business affairs still difficult way, how to open up their own electricity the way of business? Po business and your cooperation!

Using just one photo or picture may be seen as a challenge. But the difference and impression between using no pictures and a single picture is much bigger than the difference between one picture and several pictures on a page, whatever printed material or an online webpage.

A sublime layout with pictures has nothing to do with the number of pictures but how they are used.

Be inspired for your desktop publishing and web page layout by the following ideas and tips.

* A full page picture on the left page

A full page picture on the left page in a magazine, folder or book is a simple and functional layout. If possible choose a picture that directs the attention towards the text at the right page and be careful to select a really appealing picture of good technical quality.

* A picture as a whole page background

A picture as a background on a printed page can look very attractive. The real challenge is to find a picture that fits with having text on parts of it. The part of the picture that is covered by text shouldn't have any structure and the color mustn't be aggressive. A thin blue sky will often be a good choice if it matches the message.

The effect will be improved if a few small white clouds hang around but do not let them interfere with the text. Do not compromise with these aspects of interference between structures in the picture and the text. If the text is partly on an uneven background many potential readers will avoid it or get a lower level of retention.

Background pictures on commercial websites have dropped dramatically due to this effect.

* One big picture on a page

The classic layout with a combination of text and a large picture on a page is a functional but quite boring layout. The surface of the page covered by the picture might be a half of the page on the top, or at the bottom or a vertical picture to one of the sides. Putting the picture in the centre of the page with the text waved around may look much more attractive.

* One small picture on the page

A small picture or especially a very small picture alone on a page should be treated with great care. Not to say that any picture wouldn't help with the look and feel. But the point is that just one small picture may add a lot of attraction to a text page if used wisely. Because of its small size the picture should have

- a simple object and message.

- If it is in black and white it is even more important.

- a few and strong colors, mostly one color is fine.

Red and yellow can be fine as an 'accent' but may also be too aggressive. Clear blue or green may be excellent too.

* The interaction between the font and the picture

Be careful with the choice of font for the text, if you have any influence on that. Especially how the title looks like with the chosen font and how it interact with the picture is important.

* Where to get the pictures

You can find hundreds of thousands of professional stock photos including royalty-free photos at picture agencies like AgeFotoStock.com and Alamy.com that have a good reputation.

For small sized pictures the price is very modest in royalty-free photos.

If you have a very slim budget and you are not too ambitious with your products you will find cheap photos too, by searching for "stock photos" or fotos in Google. See also the following article.

* In conclusion for sublime layout with pictures

To include just one picture on a printed page or a web page will enhance the layout of the page considerably. You might even be able to produce a sublime layout with your desktop publishing. Your goal should be to hit the best interaction between the photo and the arrangement of the text.

Model Posing Tips from a Professional Photographer - Entertainment

Whether you are searching for a career in fashionmodeling or glamour modeling, it is very important for you to realize that there is more to becoming a model than just standing there looking beautiful.

One very important factor in becoming a good model is posing, and in order for you to learn the different poses needed for the type of modeling career you are seeking it will take practice, practice, practice.

Make Your Posing Look Natural

When preparing for your photo shoot, there arenumerous steps you can take to ensure you arecomfortable while posing and your photos will look more natural.

Get Posing Ideas

Before you head to your photo shoot, pick at least ten poses you really like from fashion or glamourmagazines, or poses you've learned from previousphoto shoots. Take time to practice each pose in front of a mirror until you feel comfortable and have the confidence of knowing you look great doing theseposes.

Hands and Facial Expression

Also, focus on what to do with your hands and payattention to facial expressions. A pose is virtually dead and unimaginative without a "look". You should be able to close your eyes, imagine a thought, open your eyes and sell that thought. Practice this technique and your photos will come alive.

Become an Idea Factory

Unless you are shooting for an advertising agency or some other type of special interest session manyphotographers recommend that you bring some of your own posing ideas to the shoot. In addition to yourideas, the photographer may have his or her own idea of how the session should go.

Rapport with Your Photographer

Always work with a photographer you feel you can trust. This will make communication between the two of you easier and give you the confidence to express your own ideas.

Always listen to what the photographer tells you. If you are really uncomfortable with the pose, let yourphotographer know how you feel, in a nice way.Remember, he is looking through the camera lens and might see something you don't.

If the photographer says she wants something different in the pose, try looking away from the camera or giving a unique facial expression. This is where your practice in front of the mirror really pays.

Posture

When posing you should always keep good posture unless the photographer instructs you to do otherwise.Hold your stomach in to give your abdomen a more toned appearance. If you have gained a few pounds stick out your chin a little to avoid the appearance of a double chin in your photos.

Keep your fingers slightly apart and pointed away from the lens. Let your hands fall naturally into positionwhenever possible. Remember, you want to beyourself - on purpose.

Now that you have learned what to do, consider these things you should try to avoid while posing.

Things to Avoid when Posing for a Photographer

Misplaced Body Language

Body language and expressions come naturally but the language you are projecting might not be what your photographer wants in a particular pose. You need to conciously focus on ways to prevent these habits while posing.

Don't hold your breath during a pose. Stay relaxed and your photos will look as if you just happened to besitting this way when the photographer walked up.

In most pose situations you want your arms, legs, wrists, etc. slightly bent unless you are directed to do otherwise Most people don't stand or sit with theirarms and legs completely stiff. A good point toremember is, if it will bend, bend it.

Mona Lisa Smile?

Another posing tip to remember is that you don'talways have to smile. You should have a good variety of smiling and serious looks. But, sometimes you will want to give a large, open-mouthed laugh. If you are susposed to be happy, look the part!

Your Eyes are the Windows to Your Soul

Don't always look straight into the camera. When you cut your eyes to the left or right, you create an air of mystery. When you look up and away, you areannoyed. Tilt your chin slightly down and look straight ahead for a sexy look.

About Blinking

Beware of the Blink! If you have to blink, try to blink between exposures. This is not always easy, especially if you are working in a photography studio. Some models get into a habit of anticipating thestrobes and start to close their eyes when the picture is about to be snapped.

Get into the habit of not paying attention to the flash and concentrate wholy on the pose, your bodylanguage, hand position, etc. and your images willcome out as you expect.

Be Bold!!

Never be afraid to try out some of your own poses in front of your photographer. Most photographers are glad to hear suggestions from you.

How do You See Yourself?

When you look at your final images don't be critical of yourself. Find positive ways to improve your posing.Discover your strengths and weaknesses and shoot for the stars.

I am certain that Tyra Banks still works on herappearance and her posing artistry even though shehas achieved a degree of stardom. Shouldn't you?

Portrait Photography, Posing and Making Money - Art - Visual Art

The vertical market demand reaches enormous levels especially when the requirement is almost all households around the world in all civilized countries. You can get an idea of this from another angle - if you're looking to promote your business portrait, can guide the construction of any or all and what is more exciting is that repeat business is almost incalculable. Parents love to have family portraits and some, like having to do each year as children grow. In addition, most like to have a picture of each child when more than one. The opportunities become endless. It is his skill in this area of photography and how to approach what counts.

A portrait photography business can be started from home. Often only requiring modest photography equipment, for example, you only need several pieces of fabric (background), a camera, some good lenses, two or maybe three lights and do not forget the tripod. In addition to the equipment to be modest ones in every way, everything is pretty lightweight and easy to handle if you need to work outdoors.

The most important rule to remember is that it is a portrait, not necessarily just the head, but the person or group is the center of the image, so it is important to take the picture without any mess outside. Because you always have to deal with people you have to maintain control, not as a tyrant, but you have to guide the subjects. Therefore, a certain degree of confidence needed. If you are taking a formal portrait of a group of children need you as a photographer to make sure none of the children are making faces.

This leads us to ask. Many photographers underrated this essential requirement because it poses make or break your portrait. There is much value in learning how to guide people through various poses. Posing has a continuing education requirement depending on age, gender, culture, promotion, product, and the emotion needed for each work of art, etc. It is an issue as important and extensive that I have submitted this downloadable guide that I I must take seriously - Making Camera Posing really friendly!

When you subscribe to a person for a photographic portrait take extra pictures and photographs offered as a wallet at a lower price. Who have already started the business, take advantage of it; few people can resist the feeling that they have "something for nothing." This may seem a waste of time because they can be important additives for your portfolio.

Portrait photography has undergone many changes of style since the introduction of formal portrait. The modern emphasis is to bring out the personality of each individual. Top glamour models are paid enormous fees to express a unique personality, but to pursue this aspect of his subject is both personal and technical skills of the camera. It is essential to be able to create a relationship with his order to carry out the terms that show your personality. Anyone over two years may pose for the camera with a blank expression, but the secret of portrait photography is capturing salable more than pose. To be a good portrait photographer you have to be able to connect with people, if you do not have these skills, then you better concentrate on some other type of photography, underwater photography maybe, if you want more active and adventurous.

If you want to flatter your subject, you probably want to minimize their nose. Standing about four meters from the subject, so that your nose is not significantly closer than the rest of the face. However, so far away from the camera, if you fill the frame with only the subject's face, then you need a high-magnification lens. Typical "portrait" lenses are therefore between 90 and 135 millimeters long when using a 35mm camera.

While a lot of portrait photography is completed inside a studio, the prospect of natural light can be very flattering. This can be achieved by placing the subject inside facing a window. The portrait of the environment presents different challenges. These portraits are best enlarged, if the subject's face is lost in the background. A slow film and using a tripod will help keep your images sharp. There are numbers of professional photographers who say that the portrait is not shown to best advantage when it is clinically sharp and use a filter, but with modern digital cameras, you can make an adjustment in Photoshop at a later time. However, if you're using a digital camera you will achieve the best results with a camera with a true single lens reflex.

The natural light or lighting umbrella can achieve soft lighting; both reduce shadows and show your face in a "better more attractive light." However, there is another kind of portrait photography, which is high impact photography. This is very dramatic portrait photography, using a bright light with high contrast of tonal color. This technique is most effective in the interior, and is achieved by controlling the light and not too light for the door control. Position your subject at different angles of light from one side or below. This lengthens the shadows, instead of silence, and gives a dramatic effect clearly. You can achieve this in varying degrees, but if the light source is placed at 90 degrees to the face, throw the whole side of the face in shadow. If using a digital camera can also manipulate the contrast in the afternoon for a more dramatic effect.

You can also improve your photographs if you include some motion shots, as well as traditional stills.
